Monika Stefaniak was born and raised in Abony, Hungary. After graduating from marketing school, she moved to Germany and later to England to study their languages. After living in Europe she traveled all over the world as photographer for two years. During her travels she met Jeff, who was also traveling for work at the time, and later they got married and moved to Florida. Soon after they settled in Hollywood, Monika started her pet sitting business.
Monika loves to work. She adores dogs and enjoys gardening and painting. She has four furry kids of her own: little Peanut, Chewie and Scootie and Winnie, they are all mini Dachshunds. In the beginning of 2010 they all moved out of their small condo to a spacious home in the Royal Palm Beach-Acreage area where she is currently working on providing the best private dog boarding service.
Jeff Stefaniak was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but grew up mainly in Iowa City, Iowa. He returned to Wisconsin (Madison this time) to get his degree from the University of Wisconsin. He then moved to Orlando, Florida with some friends from school and worked freelance for ESPN and the Golf Channel for a few years before accepting a position with a company in Boca Raton to install video systems for most of the major cruise lines.
It was while traveling the world on cruise ships that he met his future wife Monika. He convinced her to stop traveling and join him at his then current home in Coral Springs, Florida. She agreed, and soon after they were married.
After another two years spent in school for fire and EMS training, Jeff now works as a firefighter-paramedic for the city of West Palm Beach. He loves his little dogs Peanut, Scootie, Chewie and Winnie, and enjoys helping Monika take care of her clients’ doggies as well!
